BUDDHAS
This Buddha is hand carved gray marble from China. It has been gilded and patina. The Buddha is atop a double lotus base. The Hand positions symbolize a combination of fearlessness and welcome. He has an extended head symbolizing expanded consciousness and the urnia or third eye symbolizing divine vision. He also has extended earlobes frequently found in Chinese Buddhas of a certain age. The Buddha is 40" high, 11" wide and 7" deep, and weighs 133 pounds.
